When did you start gaming, how old were you, and what was the game?

I can remember myself as a very young kid when I first got the Playstation 1 gifted from my parents. It must have been in the early 2000s. I don’t remember the name of the game, but it has been Kart racing on different tracks against the AI only. The very first real racing game for me has been Gran Turismo 4 – I spent hundreds of hours on it.

When did you start sim racing, how old were you, and what was the game?

I started sim racing with iRacing in 2015 when I was 20 years old. Before that, I was driving Codemaster’s F1 games from 2011 onwards, but I wouldn’t call this sim racing although I used a steering wheel and set of pedals for it.

Favorite track in sim racing?

I have many favorite tracks in sim racing including Spa-Francorchamps, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and Nürburgring but the one I like most is Circuit of the Americas. It’s a very difficult track to drive on since you need to compromise in a lot of corners to be fast at the exit of the various combinations.

Favorite car in sim racing?

My favorite car in sim racing is the Audi R8 LMS GT3. The mid-engine makes it really hard to drive, but once you can control it, the driving is just awesome. I enjoy driving most of the cars, but it’s always great to come back to the Audi.

Dream real-life road car?

It is a dream for me to own a Porsche 911 GT3, no matter if it’s the RS version or not. I love the design, and while it looks really good, it has a great sound as well.

Favorite real-world motorsport championship?

I grew up watching every Formula One race. Nowadays, I miss a couple of races, but I would still call it my favorite championship. Nonetheless, I am watching most of the DTM races as well, and I am following both IMSA and WEC from time to time.

Car you would most like to drive for real?

I would really like to drive a DTM car. The speed these cars have is really insane when thinking about the stock car they are made off. Most of the time, I enjoy watching the onboard of different drivers more than the actual broadcast.

Real-world motor racing hero?

Definitely Michael Schumacher. Luckily I was born in 1994 and can still remember his races in the early 2000s.
