When did you start gaming, how old were you, and what was the game?

One of the games that I had played a lot when I was much younger was Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction on the PlayStation 2. At that time, I was five, and that’s about as far back as I can remember.

When did you start sim racing, how old were you, and what was the game?

I first started sim racing in February of 2011. I was 13 at the time, which is the minimum age to be allowed to sign up for iRacing. My first game/sim was also iRacing.

Favorite track in sim racing?

It has to be the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I can never get bored of driving this track. There is always more time to gain and something to improve on, and it’s very rewarding putting a great lap together.

Favorite car in sim racing?

My favorite would have to be the Williams-Toyota FW31 from iRacing. The reason it stands out for me is not because of any specific handling characteristics, but that it was the car that took me into competitive sim racing. From qualifying for the Pro Series, winning the Pro Series and finally, running a full season of the World Championship with a few race wins, the car will always be special to me.

Dream real-life road car?

Dream cars are either the Aston Martin Vulcan or Koenigsegg One:1. They are both works of art.

Favorite real-world motorsport championship?

Given the timezone that I’m in, I’m not always able to watch a lot of motorsport races live. However, I try my best to stay updated on WorldRX, ARX, IMSA and WEC, but I do have to say my favorite to follow is Formula 1. Even if that means just catching the highlights half a day later.

Circuit you would most like to drive for real?

This is a tough one, as there are a lot of tracks I’d love to try for real. Circuit of the Americas, Suzuka, Bathurst, but I’d give the nod to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. It’s very enjoyable to drive in the sim and I couldn’t see it being any different on the real track.

Car you would most like to drive for real?

It’s definitely a pipe dream, but it has to be the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo. The performance of that car looks absolutely incredible and it would be fantastic to experience it.

Real-world motor racing hero?

Sebastien Loeb is someone I’ve looked up to for as long as I can remember. Simply put, he’s just great in everything he competes in, and I aspire to be like that.
